Temporary Experts SE – Privacy Policy & User Agreement
This Privacy Policy and Expert Platform User Agreement governs your use of the Temporary Experts Social Enterprise Ltd. (“Temporary Experts”, “TE”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) platform. By creating a profile and using the TE platform, you agree to the terms below.
Privacy Policy
We take your privacy seriously. By creating an account with TE, you agree to provide accurate personal information so that the platform can connect you with clients and facilitate payments. We will not sell your data to third parties. Information is used only to operate the platform, support your engagement with clients, and comply with applicable Nova Scotia and Canadian law.
Information We Collect
- Personal details (name, contact information, location, skills, profile photo).
- Employment eligibility and verification records.
- Service history, ratings, and feedback.
- Payment and invoicing details (processed via third-party providers such as Stripe).
- Technical information (log-in activity, platform usage, error reports).
How We Use Your Information
- To operate the platform and connect you with Clients.
- To process payments securely and provide invoices.
- To maintain accurate records of ratings and feedback for transparency.
- To improve the platform by collecting bug reports and suggestions during the beta phase.
- To comply with Nova Scotia and Canadian law.
Your Responsibilities
- You are eligible to work in Nova Scotia, Canada.
- You are a contractor responsible for reporting earnings to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
- You must use the TE platform for all invoicing.
- If a temporary position becomes a full-time role, you agree to notify TE so we can charge a conversion commission if appropriate.
- You must provide honest ratings for businesses to keep employer information accurate.
- You recognize this is a beta version and agree to report issues or recommendations to TE.
- You acknowledge that your profile can be removed at TE’s discretion for violations of our rules of conduct or code of ethics.
- You understand the platform may change at any time based on user feedback.
Expert Platform User Agreement
Province of Governing Law: Nova Scotia, Canada
This Agreement is between you (“Expert”, “Member”, “you”, or “your”) and Temporary Experts SE Ltd. (“TE”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account and accessing the TE platform, you agree to be legally bound by this User Agreement. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Able to provide services safely and competently.
- Not subject to disqualifying criminal or regulatory restrictions.
3. Nature of Relationship
You are an independent contractor. You are responsible for your own tools, insurance, taxes, and professional conduct. TE is not responsible for your conduct, performance, or disputes between you and Clients.
4. Platform Use
- Provide accurate and truthful information.
- Offer only services you are qualified and legally permitted to provide.
- Update your availability and profile regularly.
- Respect Client confidentiality and relevant laws.
- Do not use the platform for unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent purposes.
5. Background Checks and Screening
You consent to identity verification and understand that TE may remove you from the platform if concerns arise.
6. Confidentiality
You agree not to disclose confidential information, use it for personal benefit outside TE, or discuss Client details except where legally required.
7. Payment Terms
- Payments are processed through TE’s third-party processor (e.g., Stripe).
- You must set up a secure account for payments.
- TE may deduct platform or transaction fees disclosed in advance.
- You are responsible for all tax obligations.
8. Dispute Resolution
You agree to attempt good-faith resolution with Clients. TE may act as a neutral facilitator but is not liable for outcomes. Legal disputes with TE are governed by Nova Scotia law and courts of Halifax Regional Municipality.
9. Termination
TE may suspend or terminate your access if you breach this Agreement, misrepresent qualifications, or act harmfully. You may terminate your account at any time. Obligations survive termination.
10. Limitation of Liability
TE is not liable for lost income, personal injury, or damages from platform use. The platform is provided “as-is” with no guarantee of ongoing work or earnings.
11. Modifications
We may update this Agreement from time to time. You will be notified of changes. Continued use after updates indicates acceptance.
12. Miscellaneous
This Agreement is the entire understanding between you and TE. If any clause is invalid, the rest remains enforceable. Failure to enforce a clause does not waive rights.

- You have read, understood, and agreed to the terms.
- You intend to be legally bound by this Agreement.
- You are aware of your responsibilities under Nova Scotia and Canadian law.
